RESTORATIVE JUSTICE ASSOCIATION

The Alberta Restorative Justice Association's board is made up of individuals dedicated to increasing understanding of restorative justice and how it can benefit communities. Board members seek to encourage community action that strengthens existing restorative justice programs and the development of new restorative justice programs in communities in Alberta.

Board members are supportive of the: ARJA’s vision, mission goals, objectives and operations and have the desire, knowledge, foresight and time to work as a team player in moving the organization forward. They also contribute their various skills and personal experience to group discussion, meetings, committees, various grants and projects and the annual conference.

Board Members serve 3 year terms, dedicating approximately 5 - 10 hours of board work per month.
